WHAT WE DO
In the realms of serene surroundings and rich, cultural traditions
of Indonesia exists senseless violence, terror, repression and
extreme poverty, leaving behind many people displaced and
desperate. Among them thousands of Indonesian orphans and
vulnerable children, becoming easy targets for exploitation. Mercy
Indonesia dedicated its ministry to reach out to these children with
immediate intervention and lasting care.
This is achieved by providing holistic care in the context of a
family environment through our effective Kinship model. Every
Kinship is run by Christian caregivers who work closely with the
local Christian church. This unique model provides an effective
method of meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of the
children.
